Storrs Hill Ski Area

Erling Heistad, our founder, grew up in Tønsberg, Norway. In 1923, he came to Lebanon, NH., to start a new mechanical arts program for the schools. That fall, he founded the Lebanon Outing Club, and built two ski jumps and a toboggan run. He had a dream that every kid should have a ski jump in their backyard, and thanks to his vision and efforts, Storrs Hill Ski Area was born.
